Upgrade My PPS Membership

This information is for those wishing to upgrade their membership between 1st January 2019 and 31st December 2019.

You can upgrade your membership level at any time. When you upgrade, only your level of Members Professional Protection Plan (MPPP) changes. All other PPS member benefits remain the same.  Are you looking to renew your membership?  If so, follow the instructions on our membership renewal page.

How do I Apply to Upgrade My Membership?

You can apply to upgrade your membership by downloading and completing an upgrade form. Please post the form back to us selecting a payment option. Currently we accept cheque, postal order, bank draft and credit or debit card by telephone or online.  If you need to upgrade your PPS membership urgently, please contact us.

What Happens After I have Upgraded?

When you upgrade your membership, we issue you with a new Members Professional Protection Plan for your newly upgraded membership. This product runs for 12 months from the date it is set up. Your usual PPS membership renewal date is now different to the renewal date for your new upgraded Members Professional Protection Plan.

So, to keep things simple, when you come to renew at your usual PPS membership renewal date, we’ll also renew your new upgraded Members Professional Protection Plan to make both renewal dates the same. We’ll reduce your PPS membership renewal fee based on the amount of time your upgraded plan still has left to run. Going forward, this means that you’ll only have one renewal date that applies to all your membership benefits. Therefore expect to receive your annual renewal invitation at the usual time. You will notice your membership fee has been reduced to take into account the upgrade you made within the 12 month period.
