Continuing Professional Development

We want our members to avoid professional difficulties in the first place. So, while we’re here for you if someone makes a complaint against you, we also provide other ways to protect you as a professional or student of the talking and listening therapies. When you join the Psychologists Protection Society, you can attend CPD events in person or online.  These activities are designed to promote the highest standards of professional best practice. Created by therapists for therapists, not only do our CPD activities help you develop as a professional, many are also specifically designed to minimise the risk of a claim against you. Professional Practitioner Logo The Professional Practitioner Portal contains a variety of content, including articles, events, CPD activities, latest PPS Trust news.  It is hoped members will find the content thought-provoking and members will be encouraged to think more about areas of their professional practice where problems can arise and whether or not these problems can be avoided.
