The Psychologists Protection Society Trust is committed to supporting Counsellors, Psychotherapists and Psychologists when they need help and assistance in their professional work. We would invite PPS members who feel they have the knowledge, experience and desire to join the Board to assist members and help shape the future of PPS to contact us. The PPS Board will also consider co-opting non-PPS members to the Board.
As a Board member you will bring your knowledge and experience to assist members who are experiencing difficulties in their professional lives. Meetings are normally carried out by telephone conference every 4 to 6 weeks and additionally at least once a year in person (usually at our Annual General Meeting) and requests for assistance are reviewed and discussed using a secure online environment at times to suit you. Trustees work in a voluntary unpaid capacity, however approved expenses whilst carrying out the duties of the Trust will be reimbursed.
