Information for those Interested in Becoming Trustees

 

  • The Psychologists Protection Society Trust is committed to supporting Counsellors, Psychotherapists and Psychologists when they need help and assistance in their professional work. We would invite PPS members who feel they have the knowledge, experience and desire to join the Board to assist members and help shape the future of PPS to contact us. The PPS Board will also consider co-opting non-PPS members to the Board.
  • As a Board member you will bring your knowledge and experience to assist members who are experiencing difficulties in their professional lives. Meetings are normally carried out online every 6 weeks and additionally at least once a year in person (at our AGM) and requests for assistance are reviewed and discussed using a secure online environment at times to suit you. Trustees work in a voluntary unpaid capacity, however it is a highly rewarding role that offers great benefits. These include a paid trip to the PPS Annual General Meeting, the option to attend conferences and events on behalf of PPS, expenses paid for performing trustee duties, and the satisfaction of knowing you are helping to shape the future of the Trust.
